In music, the fermata symbol invites the musician to hold a pause for as long
as they wish. Fermata Yoga offers the same invitation: to pause and ground
yourself for just a moment away from the constant rhythm of life.

I was born in Uruguay, where I grew up on a farm in a large family with a strong passion for cooking and music. Fermata was born 10 years ago during a family holiday in California. I was playing around doing yoga on the beach with my nieces when my brother in law, a musician, reminded me of this musical symbol. In music, a fermata marks a note to be held in a pause at the performer’s discretion. It instantly felt like the perfect fit for my yoga style. Your mat, wherever you roll it out, is a space of your own. It’s a personal item and part of the ritual that anchors your mind and connects your practice from home to the studio. I highly recommend bringing your own mat. We do have spares if you forget or don’t have one.
Since probably another class follows ours, we won’t have long to hang out at the studio but we can meet at Little Leaf for a cuppa! don’t miss out and get your Fermata & Little Leaf loyalty card.
I know yoga can sometimes feel overwhelming and bring things from our lives to the surface. I’m always up for a yarn, don’t be shy to reach out.
Our studio is located in the Kalbarri Arcade behind Little Leaf Cafe. You will find us at Shop 4, 44 Grey Street, Kalbarri, WA. Parking is available both in front and behind of the arcade.
We recommend the Saturday morning class, as it focuses on refining poses
with a slower flow that’s easier to follow and incorporate into your practice.
Always let us know if you have any injuries.

We absolutely welcome you! Please let us know the stage of your pregnancy
before the class starts. We strongly recommend booking a one-to-one session
once you can no longer lie on your belly.
